Studio Hours are 9am – 5pm Monday thru Thursday and Friday 9am until 12 noon.
To better serve you, appointments are required for all sittings and portrait review sessions.
Appointments for framing consultations are recommended but not necessary.
Your appointment time is reserved when you pay your sitting fee. Sitting fees include both your time in the studio and a separate appointment for the portrait review session.
Sitting fees are non refundable. We understand there are times you may need to reschedule an appointment. To reschedule, please call the studio at 251-476-4331 prior to your scheduled appointment time. We have an after-hours answering machine for evening or early morning messages. If you are a no- show, the sitting fee is forfeited.
We are pleased to offer you a large variety of scenes; however, not all scenes are available all of the time. If you would like to request a particular scene we suggest you discuss this, as well as your clothing options and additional background choices with us when scheduling your sitting appointment.
Portrait Review Session (Viewing)
The portrait review session is presented in our viewing theatre. Laura’s stunning portraits are projected life size and set to music in a custom slide show designed for your enjoyment.
A knowledgeable studio representative will guide you in narrowing your images and discuss our custom portrait retouching options. You will be assisted in determining which print or package best suits your needs, as well as what type of portrait finishes are available.
If you choose to place an order, it will be placed at this session. If at all possible, please have all the decision makers present.
Children are always welcome in the studio; however, you may want to consider the level of distraction they may create for you during the review session.
How can I share with my family and friends?
Images of portraits ordered are uploaded to the internet for family and friends to enjoy. The images are online for 14 days. To protect your privacy a private password is assigned when you place your order.After your make your final selections and if we have your permission, we will also share one of our favorite images on our facebook page: www.facebook.com/lauracantrellportraitgallery. You are welcome to use it as your profile image and to share with all of your friends!
We accept cash, checks and all major credit and debit cards. For your convenience, we also have a payment plan available for larger purchases.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders are usually available for pick up in the studio 4 to 6 weeks after your order is placed. Museum canvas, acrylics and heavy oils have an extended delivery time. Orders can also be shipped to you for an additional fee.
